FINANCE & PERSONNELL

Purpose:
To review the appropriated budget and provide preliminary review of financial
elements before they are presented to Council. To review matters related to
employees, workers’ compensation, benefits, and retirement.
SAFETY

Purpose:
To assure that residents are receiving maximum police protection and to evaluate
new policies and procedures for protective services.
UTILITIES
Members: **Dustin Hepburn (Lights), Jerry Olack, Barry Zalesney
Purpose:
To review the operations of the wastewater treatment, distribution and collection
systems and to make recommendations to Council regarding any utility-related
policies and procedures. Reviews storm sewer projects.
ORDINANCES & RESOLUTIONS
Members: **Rick St. John, Serge Gentile, Jerry Olack
Purpose:
To review proposed ordinances and resolutions. To review existing ordinances
and to make recommendations to appropriate committees for amendments and/or
updating.
ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
Members: **Serge Gentile (Public Relations), Dustin Hepburn (Rep. to Enterprise
& School Advisory), Troy Johnson (Rep. to Chamber & Planning Committee)
Purpose:
To guide the Village in development and support of viable corporate business base
and relations. To review programs developed by the administrative and financial
staff. To serve as a liason between the Village and businesses and other
organizations.
STREETS & PROPERTY
Members: **Jerry Olack (Public Grounds, Streets, Alleys & Sewer), Rick St. John
(Railroads, Bridges & Recreation), Serge Gentile (Annexation & Leasing)
Purpose:
To review annual street reconstruction programs, recommends streets to be
surfaced and sealed, reviews sidewalk program.
